Main areas of attention are:

• Dr.One, a small drone for the delivery of small medical supplies at remote locations in developing countries
• Drone Traffic Management System, a system that in combination with an Drone Traffic App provides location based insight in regulations and assists drone pilots to operate safely in airspace
• Visual Intelligence for Drones, the development of intelligent computer vision solutions for the automation of drones

IDI has a specific focus on automation of drones, in order to support the pilot, increase the reliability of the system and optimize the product for the end-user. Technology and techniques from different disciplines such as artificial intelligence, electronics and robotics are applied in a cost-effective manner to accomplish this.
